i'm on the list

happy new year, mommies! i hope you had an outstanding holiday and racked up some stellar memories with family and friends.

i’m looking forward to chatting with you about style in 2016, and i’m crossing my fingers that i can offer some inspiring (and useful) fashion guidance to implement in the midst of your busy days. if you have some ideas or questions, or something is on your fashion mind, please let me know.

new year, new haircut. still not sure. and trying out red lips, too.

in the next weeks we’ll talk about style recipes, outfit proportions, how (and why the heck you’d want to) mix prints and patterns, and a bunch of simple, little things you can do to up your style game. stay tuned…every tuesday.

so as we move into a new year, a natural time to refresh and reset, i have a favor to ask of you; a promise i’m making to myself as well. let’s put ourselves on the list. all too often everyone else comes first and we let what we need take a backseat. and yes, as a mom, self-sacrifice comes with the gig, but when we don’t save something for ourselves – alone time, girls’ night, date night, anything completely unrelated to mothering - we just can’t be at our best. i’m not suggesting you take a vacation abroad while the children feed themselves and hitchhike to school. i am talking 20 minute walks; monthly dinners with friends; finally starting that “crazy” project you’ve been thinking about for way too long.

couldn't pass up this ring as a reminder.

i'm setting my intentions for the year ahead and i hope you join me. be on your own list and in the top five! because nothing is more stylish than a girl who knows her worth.
